Disclaimer:
The spirit of this photostory is akin to a cheesy 3:00 AM "B" movie
about a post-apocalyptic world. The only "message" in this photostory is
that minor things in the grand scheme of things often lead to much bigger
problems. My intentions are not to offend anyone.
And so the story begins:
"In early November 2005, the governments of California, Oregon and
Washington instituted draconian restrictions on personal freedoms and
rights, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of
peaceful assembly, the right to bear arms and the right to a fair and
impartial trial. Rather than wait for lawsuits regarding these
infringements to make their way through a thoroughly inefficient court
system, many citizens took it upon themselves to separate themselves from
these states. Some of these citizens and citizen groups went so far as to
stage armed raids upon state and federal institutions. Caught up in the
backlash against these armed groups, peaceful separatists we subjected to
intense manhunts conducted by state, Federal and military personnel. The
episode you are about to see ignited public passions and was the catalyst
to the Second American Revolution."
