GEYPERMAN VISITS NORMANDY
By: Jordi

If you like any thing military from 1939/1945 or military history on WWII you should try to go to Normandy some day. Most of the tanks and LCPV and jeeps, half trucks, conons are outside of the museums were they are poorly maintained.

One museum very well organized and with lots and lots of stuff to see is the www.airborne-museum.org, everything well kept and maintained. There will be an extension soon. Also the Normandy museum at Arromanches which is a lovely town.

The German bunkers are getting destroyed by the weather and climate change. The steel bars inside the concrete are expanding as they get rusty and people litter inside them . The French don't seem to be very interested in preserving most of them now, there are so many bunkers! , they go from coastal atlantic side of Spain to Norway, most of them are still intact, defensive and observation bunkers but then again the Pointe de Huc is a Northamerican monument, is kind of left aside too at the mercy of climate changes. They might not be around in another 65 years.

Some links for you guys: Anyway, enjoy the pics and pass around these very interesting web sites for everyone you know to see and browse.
