TORA BORA, 2001
By: BHD

Well after having started to read the great book "Kill Bin Laden" by Dalton Fury, I just had to start working on a few spec ops guys. I first heard about it while my family was watching "60 Minutes" and the author was on talking about his time over there and basically what the book is about, him and his men trying to hunt down Bin Laden and kill him. I finally got a copy of the book and although I'm only half way done at this time, it's a great read. Plus it tells the true account of what really happened in Tora Bora during our early days over in Afghanistan. The book is not only informative, but very entertaining and makes you feel like your one of the Delta members going along though the mountains hunting down the worlds most wanted man. Everyone should go out and get this book, even if your not into modern battles.

Now on to the figure. He is still a WIP since technically our boys over there wore mostly clothing that resembled the locals, so I need to find/make him a pakol(those pan cake style hats) and a different type of tactical vest/chest rig. He is the first of many more to come as I plan on making more members of Jarbreaker Juliet, a few locals and of course some bad guys. I have a feeling once the weather starts cooling off and I get more cloudy days, it may just develop into a photo story.

A very sharp looking figure here for sure my friend. When you add those new upgrades, I'm sure he'll be awesome. Nice choice of headsculpts with that Sideshow guy. Some excellent photos here too. Special thanks for sending this cool project in and sharing it with us. - GL
