Background: There are 5 custom things going on in this story. One is the armor wore by the figure with
the A. Joline head sculpt. Then that head sculpt. Then yet another head sculpt on the target figure, and the use of rabbit fur for the hair. Last is the ARMORED SUIT made from a blow dryer.
(let's just say I need more work on the female heads sculpts...)
Lastly there is a very quick showing of how to do very CHEAP BLUE SCREEN. That blue is just some flat Krylon paint sprayed on a plastic sheet. I use PaintShopPro to edit the images. Select magic wand, select HUE and a tolerance of 10. As long as you do not have BLUE on your front object, the magic tool will select 90% of the blue background in the first click. It may require 4 SHIFT+clicks to get a nice outline of the figure. But I was not joking, it took about a minute to start from a fresh image and put whatever background I had laying around in its place. If the professional blue screen was cheap and available easily, then it would require less clicks. I did not use the flash on the camera, but had a halogen lamp providing the main light. Tried not to cast shadows on the blue screen. |
