STRUCK BY A LIGHTNING
By: Hogie309

.... then the ME-262 banked out of the clouds and leveled out, for the long flight back to his Air Base in Germany. He'd just finished knocking out one of our supply trains, grounded aircraft at the Belgian Air Base, and strafed and bombed a school full of kindergartners !! oooo , what an icehole this guy was...

Twin 34,000 Hp Rolls Royce-Merlin inline engines screamed out of the clouds, and aimed straight towards the Nazi Jet Fighter, and opened up with her five .50 cal. nose guns, spewing hot tracer rounds and lead into the soft Aluminum skin of the murderous, closed minded Nazi's airship. The ME-262 whipped around and got on the Lightning's 'six', and let loose molten hot .20 mm lead into the P-38's Starboard engine and propeller, then screamed past him and dove.

The Lightning's pilot kicked in the Nitrous Oxide, and slammed his ship forward, to catch up to the ME-262. Five blazing .50's, ate away at the 262's tail and port side jet engine, as smoke started to fill the cockpit, so the Nazi bailed.......

The Lightning was losing Altitude, and started breaking up. The Tuskegee Airmen had to abandon his craft and take his chances of landing in a friendly part of Belgium....

Respectfully Yours sir, Cpt. Hogancamp :)
