Here's a couple of pics of the ' Dozer that's been on the drawing board
for a LONG time! I've got some stuff to add to her . Like a mockup of an engine . And
I've also got to decide what kind of road wheels , and track links that
I want to use on her .
But even as a cardboard mock-up IMHO she came out looking pretty good ! She is NOT specifically supposed to be a KOMATSU , 'CAT or any other kind of Real World 'Dozer . She's loosely based on some 'Dozers that were pictured on page 102 of THE ILLUSTRATED HISTORY OF THE VIET NAM WAR that were used to clear LZ's , and air strips during the 'Nam . Lenghtwise she's thirty-six inches long , and when the arms are attached for the blade she'll be forty to forty-two inches long . I'll send in some more pics when I'm further along with the Project . |
