HOME COLLECTION

This is a little 10'x10' room with a built in bunk. The grand kids sleep here when they visit. Over time I have added figures and different things of interest to the room to see if they notice and maybe provide them with some history of whatever the new item was. The kids are pretty smart and they do notice everything.

My Grandfather on my Father's side of the family was in the Navy during WWI, afterwards he owned a bar in the 1930's in Cincinnati, Ohio. He kept a sawed off shotgun, a blackjack, a sap and a sawed off baseball bat under the bar for just such an emergency. I have Luca standing with the old shotgun (non-functional) and an old candlestick phone my Dad kept (it still works if hooked up)

I have my Sideshow figure of what I think an "A" typical Johnny Reb would have looked like. Then there is my little collection of Indians, Mountain Men, horses and the Birch Bark Canoe. They are nestled back in the corner by my 50cal. Hawking Gun, tomahawk, possibles bag, beaded necklace and medicine pouch.

On the opposite wall I have a little Navy Memorial for my Grandfather, my Father and to drunken Seabee's everywhere.. Thanks to GunChief for the kitbashed Navy Officer.

Finally I have 3 kitbashed Special Forces figures in an antique copper wash boiler filled with dried cattails and Spanish Moss. Their camo doesn't blend so well, but who cares. (not me)
