EARLY SETTLERS
FLATBOATING DOWN THE OHIO RIVER
(EARLY 1800S)

By: Checkmate King 2

Bonus Pics:

I did the men folk figures from 21st figures (Vinnie & the carded Merc I think), some BBI shirts, and maybe a pair of pants, SOTW hat, pants and boots and a DogSoldier vest.

Then I started playing with my Shawnee Indians. An unpainted DogSoldier head and body, clad in leather pants and shirt, a DogSoldier (blank) shield covered in leather and feathers, a homemade spear, a BBI breast plate and DogSoldier Viking boots for him. Then I did up the DRAGON Vietnamese girl as my Shawnee Maiden. Clad in a leather dress, belt, mocasins, headband and possibles bag, a few beads, a feather in her hair and a miniature Indian piece of pottery. I added a custom made bow, quiver and arrows slung across his back, beaded necklaces around his neck and a tomahawk in his other hand.

Simply amazing work old friend! Boy, you sure didn't leave out a detail, did you? This thing belongs in a museum or something. And I can't say enough about the beautiful location you shot the whole thing in as well. Just too cool, I'm blown away! Special thanks for sending this outstanding project in and sharing it with all of us. - GL
