| This is something I thought of when I saw an ad on the tv for the out door game of hockey in Boston. "A Little Something Different". I love hockey. I've been skating since I was 4, in back yard rinks or whatever piece of ice that was around. I was a defenceman for years but at 34 I needed a change and started playing goal. I played goal for my last 14 years until the old back gave out on me, so now I just watch it on tv, A LOT! I did a bash of me in my goalie gear. I made my pads, gloves, mask, and sweater; then I took one of my old goalie stickes, cut it down to sizeish, painted and taped it and I had a mini me. I always wanted to play with some of my heros that I watched growing up but NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. Well thanks to great world of 1/6 my dreams kind of came true. On New Years Eve I had two friends over for a little game of pond hockey. The thing about pond hockey you never had nets so you alway used your boots. Hope you like it..... pvtmel |
| Cool stuff old buddy, (pun intended :) I don't know much about hockey myself, but I'm definitely a fan of some terrific 1/6th photos, and these are terrific. A really great job! Special thanks for sending this one in and sharing it with us. - GL |
