THE NEW YEAR'S DAY 1945... PATROL
By: Hogie309

GL sir,

Heated exhaled carbon dioxide, turned into water vapor and appeared in a fog, and then disappeared into the frigid Belgian air, as the five Marwencol GI's breathed the hot air from their lungs trudging along in the knee deep Belgian snow, on this New Year's Day in 1945. The patrol was led by 'ol Lt. Cal Lee, and next was Lt. Okimbored. They were followed by Warriors 1st BN on the BAR, then Medi-Jeep, and finally, bringing up the rear, was Cpt. Ranger322. Colonel Jones (Rich) ordered guards and patrols in and around Marwencol all Winter long, to prevent the Nazi Terrorists from taking over Marwencol. Because, every Springtime, we have to fight to get the town back into Allied and Friendly hands again.

Respectfully Yours sir, Cpt. Hogancamp
