SCENES FROM MARWENCOL
By: Hogie309

LT.Hogancamp sends you and your troops some more updates of Marwencol. In the jeep shots with my brother Gregg driving, my brother Michael as the medic, and me, the flying tigers pilot in the back. The jeep has 100 miles on it ; that's 600 miles,in 1\6th... Due to my injuries I use an old pool cue and some nylon line to pull the jeep, Kubelwagon, Scout car, BMW w\ sidecar, or the Kettenrad. Realism. Realism, detail and the task of posing a doll so it looks real, through the lens. That's my goal. To make it all look real. Mess it up, weather it with paint, let it get rained on, let the sun bake, and peel the paint... that's what happens to vehicles of war. Mud, dirt, dust, bullets, shrapnel, explosions, fenders get dented from trees. Tires get worn and scuffed up. Motorcycle engines aren't all grey or all desert tan. I've painted all the engines to look like badly abused, war engines.
