WWII CUSTOMIZED GERMAN
By: Sgt. Schultz

April 28, 1945. The German defenders of Berlin are falling back to the final defensive positions in the city center. The Red Army is within sight of its final objective, the Reichstag. The defenders have taken up positions within the govenment buildings and many are determined to fight to the death. One of the units holding the "Zitadelle" sector is the 'Danmark" regiment of the "Nordland" Panzergrenadier division. The division is made up primarily of foreigners, such as Swedes, Norwegians, Latvians, Belgians, and attached French, Spanish, and British personnel. These men, now considered traitors in their home countries, have nothing to lose.

This image represents a member of "Danmark" preparing to defend the collapsing center of Fortress Berlin.

It's about time we got to see more of your cool photos, old friend! You sure didn't disappoint with this one. Very cool stuff here for sure! Just a great looking German trooper here, all the way around. Special thanks for sending him in and sharing him with us. -- GL
