THE DREAM
By: Hogie309

. . . Cpt. Hogancamp was in the back of the armored car sifting through the garbage that had collected in the back of it through the years at Marwencol. He found the shovel that he had when his P-40 crashed along the Mulva River, and for the first night in what he thought was China, but was really Belgium (which he still can't figure out how THAT happened), and he had to dig a deep ditch for shelter. . .

GL and Bert (Oddbod) came up through Main street in Marwencol in a Jeep, and stopped at where Hogie was. GL says, "Hey Hogie, there's trouble at the "Ruined Stocking"and they need you there, right now !",and I say, "Who's arguing over there at the club ?". GL says, "Amy and Dahlia are fighting, and Deja's planning on rubbing out the both of them, to where ever she sends people !". "Hop in the Jeep Hogie and we'll take you there. . . ". I say "OK !, thank you sir, for telling me about this !!". The GL says, "No worries my friend. Just glad that I can help :)". Bert said nothing, as we drove to my catfight club.

I noticed that we were going in the wrong direction, and I asked Bert "What's up buddy ? This is the wrong way to the club." Bert still said nothing. The GL kept to himself also. :) Then, we come around a turn, and I see what I think is a P-40, just sitting there on an old Belgian airstrip. . . . but then I sees the markings and numbers, and I knows then, that she's my old plane !!!! The one I crashed almost seven years ago, along the river Mulva !!!! I later found out, that the spirits of both of my Grandfathers, who's images and memory is forever burned in the pages of Marwencol, moonlighted when they weren't working on the dragster, to reconstruct my P-40 Warhawk for me. Every night, Pops and Papi would take the armored car to the banks of the river and take a section of the plane back to town with them. . . it took them seven years.

They still have some fine tuning to do to it. . . .

Respectively Yours sir, Cpt. Hogancamp, AVG
