ANCIENT JAPAN DIORAMA
By: Graeylin

These are pics of the dio itself. I worked it up to be a "front" for simple pictures, and built it in a big box i dug into a rocky hill in my yard. Filled the box with dirt and sand, and placed the tree pieces, grass, plants, and rocks in place to make the garden.

After the first hundred pictures I took, i noticed that i didn't like the "empty" space underneath the house, so i dropped in a wood slat backdrop, to give the house more depth, and fool the camera.

I used volcanic rock for the garden features, to mimic the Volcanic nature of Japan. Had plenty in my yard, some work with a hammer broke them small enough.

The walkway was made from slate that I chipped and split.
