THESE EYES SO GREEN
By: Hogie309

The boys and I were being interviewed by Mr. Pyle, while on guard duty with our tank just outside of town. Cpt. Chairborne rode up on one of the town's bikes and Mr. Pyle started to ask him questions also. I couldn't get my headphones on just right because of my crush cap, and Bill told me that his side cap is uncomfortable : so we traded hats :) We were both satisfied with our new covers. . .

Meanwhile, my two Grandfathers' spirits loaded up the P-40's wing guns with 200 round belts of ammo, for each of the six .50's. That gives the pilot 1,200 rounds of ammo, to get out of Dodge :)

My Grandfather 'Pops' tuned up the Warhawk's 48,000 hp, 12 cylinder, Rolls Royce- Merlin engine to top performance, just by listening to it (like he did in real life when he tuned cars), and my Grandfather 'Papi' (who was in the Luftwaffe during WW II, on the Eastern Front) loaded the wing guns and took care of the aeronautics of the craft.

Meanwhile, meanwhile . . . good 'ol GL and GI Julie were admiring the P-40, when Scrunchie snuck up behind them and startled them. Deja said "Miss Julie, all of the girls in town elected YOU to be their leader, and they elected me to tell you that :)" "They also asked me, if I could do something about making you as beautiful as you are in real life . . .

Respectfully Yours sir, Cpt. Hogancamp
