GERMAN KOMMANDO
SPEZIALKRAFTE (KSK)
By: Minuteman

I used a 21st Villain figure with US woodland BDUs dyed to dark green, took off the cuffs, and painted it with fabric paint in Flecktarn camo pattern. I glued a German flag to both his sleeves. I made his webbing from an old East German gas mask bag which was made of od vinyl. On the web gear, he has a butt pack, holster, MP5 open mag pouches, smoke grenade, & e-tool, all are functionable. I used a WWII German canteen which is very similar to the current issue, & painted it to match the webbing. He has a Hasbro Kevlar helmet in which the shape looks more like the Bundeswehr helmet, painted it and fashioned the foliage loops. I sewed the flak jacket carefully imitating the original pictures from Sportsman's guide. I painted it with desert Flecktarn pattern that KSK uses on desert and beach manuevers.
He is armed with an MP5SD3 SMG and H&K Soccom pistol, both dry brushed to looked weathered and the muzzles drilled. He also wears a Villain/German Para boots. Also included is a picture of myself with my H&K SP89 with folding stock.

Nice work there Minuteman! I love this guy. I'm really glad someone finally got creative and used that villain figure as a soldier. All the work you spent on this figure really shows. The camo pattern is too cool! Special thanks for sending these in and sharing them with us soldier. Keep up that great work. -- GL
