WWII JAPANESE SOLDIERS
By: Graeylin

These are pics of a IJA private with a barrage mortar. These are simple steel tube, attached to a baseblock of wood, with an iron spike. You simply place the unit in the ground, hold at an angle, and drop in the mortar round. The rounds are carried in the sack/bag under his arm. These rounds are smaller, and have a folded "parachute" attached to the top. They are carried into the sky, the parachute unfolds, and the sparkling/phosphorous flare drifts to the ground.

This is my kitbashed Japanese sniper. He carries a sniping model Ariska rifle, and wears a US .30 cal web belt for supplies and gear.

Wow! Some awesome looking IJA here Graeylin. Terrific job on those custom weapons as well. I'm sure these guys will serve to inspire a lot of folks out there thinking about bucking up their own Japanese collection. Special thanks for sending these great projects in and sharing them with us. -- GL
