GI GEORGE'S BASEMENT PLAYGROUND
By: El Paso Trooper and GI George

Here's the last installment of GI George's collection. His built from scratch 1/6 scale garage & warehouse combo. He built it out of wood and corrugated metal sheets. George's scenario for this thing is a GI Joe has been kidnapped and is being sold to some nefarious types for his knowledge. Before this happens he must be rescued so SWAT swings into action

From a distance this looks like a normal garage, but get a little closer and you'll notice some activity in the side yard and on the roof. One SWAT team has silently taken up its final position before the assault in the side yard ready to deal with the bad guys in the garage area. The second team has taken up position on the roof of the building, they are seconds away from making a dynamic entry into the room where the main bad guys are. (The roof is "open" to show the interior of the building.)

For the ground team, the next two pictures show their opposition. Members of the notorious Road Devils motorcycle gang including their leader Beech and another gang member (actually a 101st Airborne figure) in the first garage bay. With T-Gore and another gang member (a German figure) in the second bay.

For the roof team they're about to make entry into a roof they may regret barging into. Inside that room is Aus, who kidnapped the Joe, and is negotiating with Boris on the price for the Joe. Also in the room are the masked villain and Matilda, but they're not who the SWAT guys should be worried about. It's the guy in the lower right-hand corner of the room they should worry about. Oh, dang! It's the Mad Bomber! If anything goes wrong he pushes the detonator and everyone goes BOOM!

On the floor below where the meeting is taking place are two more rooms. In the first room Junkyard Jack and his dogs are having some fun with some of the other baddies. The barking of the dogs drowned out the noise made by the roof team. In the next room is what this rescue mission is all about, the kidnapped Joe. He's being guarded by the Merc.

How will this mission turn out? Will the Joe be rescued? Will the Mad Bomber blow himself, and everyone else, up? Y'all will have to wait until George decides on what happens next. So George, what happens next? When that happens I'll be there to take the photos. Hope you liked what you saw.

Cool stuff here GI George! I sure wish I had a whole basement labyrinth like that to display all my collection in. Some great looking figures and vehicles all over the place. Definitely a mighty fine looking collection! Wow, that helicopter dio and the villain warehouse is just super cool. Special thanks to you and of course, El Paso Trooper for taking the pictures for you and sending them in and sharing them with us. - GL
