I think my Sherman is done. Well...... I still have to spray some flat
lacquer over it and add dirt but that's a little hard when you have
snow on the ground, so that will have to wait.
All in all, I think this tank is a pretty nice kit. I'd rather have nicer tracks but HEY !!!! I used 1 can of Krylon plastic paint for primer and 3 cans of Testors Dark Green for everything else. I bought 3 strips of brass to make the light guards and shelf brackets out of. Most of the gear on the tank is TUS but there is a piece or two from SOTW and Hasbro. The tank commander is an SOTW body with TUS uniform. |
| The tank is a cool piece but I get my jollies off when it's time to paint and gear it up for action. It's times like these I'm glad I saved a lot of my extra gear, over the years. |
