1st off is a paratrooper armed with a 2.8 cm heavy antitank rifle model of 1940 on its lightweight airborne mount. Its caliber shrank from 28mm to 20 with somehow increased its muzzle velocity but requred tungsten to make work the supply of which got cut off after germany invaded russia.....
Next is a Panzerjager armed with a panzershreck note the ammo carrier made from zeltband materal it just happened that 21st's nonfuntioning zeltand happend too be a near perfect fit for four rounds which his loader will have to pull out. Last is our intreped panzerjager armed with a model 38 8mm antitank rifle. All this stuff is very much a work in progress and bashed together from the lot of german gear i scored from Irish 13 for which I thank again. |
