THE FOUR MINUTE HOUR
By: Justin Case

A silent day in my backyard.

A sniper that has been hiking for a day reaches the base of his prechosen sniper cover post. A tree.

The sniper reaches mid way of the very large tree. He removes his sniper rifle from its bag.

He checks his sights. He is waiting. He has to cover a two man team that will be inserted in a matter of minutes into a red zone to run surveillance on the area.

Over the horizon comes the Little Bird from base to drop the team.

The helicopter blades roared above James as he jumped from helicopter. His feet crunched under the snow.

Dylan leapt from the helicopter and anxiously set up post. He was young, much younger than James, and this whole experience was new and exciting to him.
