This is Vincent Strauss, company machine gunner. Vincent has been on the frontlines for several weeks and in need of a good rest. His battle fatigued weary look testifys to it.
This Fallschrimjager machinegunner started as the Monte Casino officer. I have added 5-o'clock shadow, detailed wrinkles, homemade cigarette. The helmet is a jump helmet with splinter cover added.The smock has been re-dyed and weathered. He has a plaid undershirt (doesn't show up very well) on under his smock. Trousers are weathered as are boots and his MG-34 has a custom sling. |

Here is Ernst Walther, a veteran of several battles. He currently is assistant gunner for Corporal Strauss. Ernst is also battle fatigued. The cold and lack of adequate clothing has forced Ernst to make due with what he can find.
In additon to being assisant gunner he is armed with the Kar-98 and grenade launcher. Ernst started as a SWAT Commander,he has had a re-paint, added ruff-whisker(using a Dremel). He has added some make-do netting to his helmet and is highly weatherd. |
