CUSTOM DISPLAY BASE
By: Pvt. Ryan

Well here are some photos of a diorama base, They should help you for displaying your own figs on one if you want to build one. I used green styro foam cut out shapes for the rocks/concrete rubble. The grass I used is pictured. I painted the ground mud colored then painted over it with a sand colored paint. If you want it to be a Dual Era dio leave the mud color. I used grey paint on the styro foam. Paint this by hand as the styro could melt is spray painted. I then used clear plastic which i broke for glass, the wood is broken by hand as is the plastic. I used a piece of ply wood for the base. All supplies should be available at a hobby shop except the base. Michaels and hobby lobby should have most of the stuff, not sure about the wood pieces.

The Figure was made by taking an AA pt uniformed ranger, removing his shoes, and putting the 3rd sfg uni on, I then put the shoes back on. I left the pt stuff on to simulate an under shirt, boxers etc... I used a seal harness, beretta and holster, 75th ranger nvgs, m60 e3, 2 m60 ammo pouches, and 2 canteens. M60 ammo bandoliers would also be a great addition to this fig.
