JUST PLAIN OL' MARWENCOL
By: Hogie309

. . . Von Arnold came screaming out of the sky towards Marwencol, his BF 109's engine had quit (the norm for the crappy wiring that I do:) and his ship came barreling through the trees. The .30 crew on the roof of the 'Anchorage' saw the aircraft silently gliding past the town, and then they heard it crash. . .

In reality, I was attempting to hang the '109' in such a way, that it would give the illusion of strafing or bombing Marwencol.

I used kite string instead of the 10 lb. test fishing line that I bought, specifically to hang the large birds from my ceiling. The kite string worked out, so I let the plane stay there, six feet in the air, for three hours. The moment I touched the string and the weight of the plane bounced just once, the big six foot wingspan airplane fell to the earth like a rock. I went over to it and saw that the landing gear on one side of the aircraft went straight up through the top of the wing. Thank goodness the prop was sitting horizontally instead of straight up and down ! :)

Cpt. Hogancamp made an unscheduled and unscripted visit to Marwencol. He just learned that his Mother was getting ready to fly away, and he needed to be around some people. Evil couldn't get to the Cpt. and kill him, so evil sought revenge and is slowly taking his Mother from him : before he got the chance to know her again.

The Viet Nam guys lay the unconscious Union Sgt. down in front of the entrance to Marwencol, and then they changed back to Bronze. Sgt. Howard and a 9-11 soldier found 'ol Bert laying in the weeds at the edge of town, and they got a hold of a stretcher and proceeded to bring Bert to the AB Medic in town.

The SS were coming back to their headquarters, when Major Schneider and the others noticed something amiss at their little bungalow. . .

Respectfully Yours sir, Cpt. Hogancamp, AVG
