| The Rail is still pulling the wheels at the line. It looks cool but it's not the fast way down the track, Still Van keeps her straight and manages an Excellent Time for a Slingshot Dragster built with "Old Tech"....191.88 MPH in 8.06! Not too shabby but as usual Gunther sees room to Improve. He wants it in the 7's by the Nostaliga Nationals in the fall... He may Adjust the Blower Drive ratio. He didn't have to use the Carter 16 foot Drag Chute on this pass, Blackwater has ample shut down area and with no one else there it was an easy coast to a stop. Van being Van he whipped the Slingshot around and drove back up to the starting line to Talk to Gunther. Gunther was none to pleased with this...Hey Van "You Better Watch out":..... (now Gunther better get back to the shop and finish up that Wedge Dragster he's building!) |
