VOLKSARMEE (NVA) PARATROOPER

| Here is my current project of an East German Nationale Volksarmee (NVA) paratrooper belonging to the 40th Airborne Battalion. He carries an Armoury RPG 7D with pack. He wears the rain camo pattern jacket and trousers I made. On his load bearing harness is a working ammo case for his MPi AKS-74NK shorty assault rifle’s magazines, an AK bayonet, canteen and mess kit, grenade cloth pouch with grenades from the Armoury RPG set. He uses a Dragon paratrooper boots which I weathered. Modified a 21st Century AK-74 into the East German short rifle variant. Made the paratrooper helmet with leather ear cover and straps and added the goggles. -- Minuteman |
