USING THE PAINT PROGRAM
By: Sgt. Howard

Look at the wrists and hands in these photos- see what voodoo I have done with the 'Paint' system. Mind you, I am still playing at this time but it seems I can eradicate joint lines in my photos... and suspension lines to boot. Rather than rely on the limited pallet offered by the color choice in the program, you pull a sample off your image that you want replicated with the eyedropper function, then pencil where appropriate. Play with it to figure it out and you'll see for yourself. Mastering this removes quite a bit of the limitations of these figures- you can change the expression of the subject, the focal point of his eyes etc.

Really nice job with that paint program, Sgt. It's amazing what one can do with some of those computer programs to enhance your photos. And even a simple one like paint can work wonders! Special thanks for sending these cool shots in and sharing them with us. - GL
