| ...After rescuing Anna, all of us joined our troops that were positioning themselves around Marwencol for the assault on our town. We snuck in under the light of the full moon, and the next morning we attacked. While we kept the SS occupied, the three GI prisoners escaped and fought the enemy from within the town. I lost about half of my soldiers; Americans, Russians, and Germans. The SS were using some of our own weapons against us, besides their own, full of tons of ammo, weapons. We need help. I am requesting reinforcements. If we are to recapture Marwencol, so the allies can continue to have a foothold near the Ardennes, then we {Ewald, Albert, Anna, Hank, Tod, Jeff, Kate, and I } need your assistance. |
