IMPERIAL JAPANESE ARMY
By: BC Ries

Imperial Japanese Army troops out collecting hardwood for bunker construction.

Hei-cho (Lance Cpl.) Sakamoto: Quiet, I hear somebody walking thru the jungle.

Itto-hei (Pfc,) Ono: It sounds like a Gun-so.

Gun-so (Sgt.) Imada: Hei-cho Sakamoto how many logs has your detail cut to size.

Hei-cho Sakamoto: 12 large logs are ready and several more smaller ones.

Gun-so Imada: Very good, once 15 large logs are cut to size move them forward to where the bunker is being constructed.

Sneak Peek, Japanese Bunker

Once again, very very cool old buddy! I can't wait to see when the bunker comes into play in your photo story. It looks great from the inside view. Special thanks for sending another cool IJA shoot in and sharing it with us. - GL
