THE MOSIN NAGANT
By: Hogie309

The P-51 and P-40 sat there on the airfield silent for the moment as Captain Hogancamp said so-long to Anna, and she bade him farewell in return. Tech. Sgt Emmanuel and Capt. Stoudamire prepared their ship for take-off and have already said their so-longs to the town's folk. Cpt. Stoudamire and Cpt. Hogancamp were ordered to escort the 303 bomb group on their way to a target in Germany, and then they were supposed to escort them back to their base in England.

The Commander of the American artillery battery, that was knocking the hell out of the SS encampment 20 miles away, stood there with his hands over his head as his Nazi captors searched him for contraband. The only thing the SS found were 4 unused "Woodstock Film Festival" tickets, to some movie in the United States.

The SS were looking for Marwencol and those guys that massacred their comrades back at their headquarters, so they left an officer and a corporal to take care of the Allied prisoner, while the rest of them marched towards the town of Marwencol to get some 'payback'.

Lt. Merry couldn't have been happier, as news of his approved request to join the 'Marwencol Allied Volunteer Squadron', meant that he would be able to see his girl Danielle again !! :)

Respectfully Yours sir, Cpt. Hogancamp, MAVS.
