Years ago I started on the idea of a "Predator 3" photoshoot but never did quite have the time to get the figures out to an appropriate outdoor area. Over the past couple of years I added some newer figures and some are close to stock while others are full bashes. I finally painted my old Hasbro Humvee and have a 1/6th Land Rover WMIK on order to give the rest of the troops a ride.
This is a work in progress and some fine tuning needs to be done on the figures and vehicle. The 21st Mini-gun on the Humvee is not finished either, and it's ammo box is just sitting on the floor. I've been looking over pictures of the 1:1 versions and have a few ideas and want to add some details like weighing down the packs for a more realistic look.
The storyline still isn't complete but I know I'm bringing along a couple of characters from an old SEAL photoshoot of mine from many years ago (the guys are now retired and contracting for the CIA). Who knows when I'll finally get around to a location that looks more like a desert, but at least I've been able to devote a little time to 1/6th again. I figured I'd snap a couple of shots and at least show what I've got so far. Hope y'all like these. |
