OL' KURTIE!!
By: Hogie309

. . . Cpt. Hogancamp, 'ol Lt. Cal Lee, and Mr. Pyle sat under the P-40 talking and thinking of a way to get the heck out of where they were. 'ol Hogancamp wished that he hadn't had slept through the parts of basic flight training where they taught how to repair the easy stuff on an aircraft engine. . .

The little Marwencol Nymph (Scrunch hasn't though of a name for her new friend yet) sat first on Hogie's leg and then she flew onto the tool chest, and listened to us talk. I couldn't see her, nor could anyone else see her, but she saw us.

Scrunch just thought up a name for her and she just told me ; 'Gabrielle' ! Cool !!

So, Gabrielle suddenly noticed the two Nazis that were spying on the Americans, and they were probably cooking up an attack.

She flew over to them without them even knowing that she was inches from them, to hear what they were planning and yes, they were going to attack the Americans at dusk.

The B-17 waist gunner Sgt. stood behind a giant Redwood tree, where the Nazis first were before they snuck up closer to the War Hawk, and he couldn't see that far without everything being blurry : so he reached into his coat and put on his glasses. "There!" he exclaimed,"Now I can see what's going on, hehehe:)". He saw the hidden Nazis and the P-40, and he wished he had a bigger weapon instead of the .45 so he could at least hit them when he shot at them.

Gabrielle flew to the Allied friend closest to the broken P-40 and the bad men. She couldn't be seen or heard, so she used her little Marwencol magic to send stuntman Kurt mental commands, which he heard. . .

Stuntman Kurt pulled up alongside the three peeps in front of the P-40 and asked, "Anyone need a lift back to town ?". Lt. Lee and Mr. Pyle took the offer for a ride to Marwencol, and I stayed with my ship. I wasn't going to leave my baby out in an abandoned field all alone ! . . .

Respectfully Yours sir, Cpt. Hogancamp, Marwencol Allied Volunteer Squadron.
