MAC-V ADVISOR

| These are my 5th SF Group MAC-V Advisor, Republic of Viet Nam, circa 1968. The fig is a Hasbro GI Joe with a 21st C. Infantry Jungle Fatigues uni set and a 21st C. Green Beret. Pretty much straight forward, except that I put this together as a donation to a raffle at a local VFW post last weekend. The punch line is, the fella that won this piece was a Vietnamese Nung who actually fought with a Special Forces A-team in Viet Nam in 1968. I thought this to be a very interesting coincidence. Needless to say, I was very happy that this guy got a very good home. |
