...We were all in different little groups surrounding Marwencol.
We attacked our town from every angle and I lost half of my troops, because of
my poor decision. From where Jacqueline, Jack and I were, we could see the
prisoners revolting from within the town.
Yahzee and the screaming Major went to the graveyard to capture the .30 cal., and Nick headed towards the kraut on the .50 cal.. Nick didn't make though, because the kraut pulled his side arm and shot Nick. Yahzee and the screaming Major accomplished their goal, but Yahzee was over zealous and ran out of the graveyard to get that SS sniper on the deck of the Marlo Inn. The SS officer was heading towards the cemetery, pulled his pistol out, and shot Yahzee. This left the screaming Major all alone in the cemetary, with the .30 cal., and he was bent on killing that kraut officer... That 57mm was stomping us, and we didn't dare move for fear of having no attack force left... |
