Day 5: Something is coming our way! Finally a jeep and it's got American markings! It is from Marwencol, they made it all the way here, alive. The crew is met with open arms and quickly directed into the
middle of town. Todd hesitates not a minute more and rushes to the side of the wounded.
The others introduce themselves as Sgt. Peter Morris ( driver ), and Corp. David Braxton. We help them with to unload the trailer and jeep of the supplies that they have brought us. We now have enough to last a while and maybe accually make it through this war. After about 2 hours Todd tells us that the medic will make it, he was very lucky and blessed. That night we celebrated our new friends arrival and the fact that they brought us cigarettes and alcohol mad it even better. |
