Stuart M5
Here are some photos of my 21C M5 Stuart which I have bashed, upgraded and generally mucked about
with. I modelled it on the US 3rd Armoured Div vehicles about the time of the Normandy landings and the
weeks after. The aerial has been moved to the turret top and a bullet deflector added to the hull front. The 3rd
Arm Div seemed to be one of the few regiments that had these minor modifications done.
All the weld seams have been replaced or enhanced with 'miliput', the side skirts cut away and the tool stowage
modified according to photographs I have. She still needs some weathering applying but so far I am reasonably
happy with the results.
