SOMEWHERE IN FRANCE WWII
(COMBAT) Continued...

Marie, acknowledges Jean Claude and the Lieutenant stands to greet the burly Frenchman. Jean Claude interrupts and explains, he saw a German patrol in the woods, on his way to the house. Zey have a prisoner, Englishman ! Show me where Jean Claude ! They move to the window and the Lieutenant looks along the tree line for the German patrol.

The Lieutenant doesn't see them yet so that must mean they are still in the woods. The patrol may not come to the house but he doesn't want to take any chances. He gathers Gainy, Middleton & Sergeant Ursino. " Okay Sergeant, you and Gainy grab Sharp and take cover in the barn. Find good gun ports for firing into the treeline to our south. Take the Walkie Talkie with you. If they come toward the house, I want to let them get as close as possible and wait for the best opportunity for the kill. I'll be watching from here and have Middleton at this window. When I'm sure we have the best shot I'll say fire, over the radio. I want all three shots to sound like one and raise as little suspicion as possible. The guys run out the door while Stypinski covers them, crossing the yard.

Com'on Sharp, we've got to take positions in the barn. Krauts are in the woods ! I'll explain the setup when we are inside, said Sergeant Ursino.

The three run for cover in the barn.
