Bear Claw, Egan is a free trapper in the Rocky Mountains around the 1840's

Bear Claw is checking his trap lines for beaver.

He's carrying a 50cal. Hawkin Rifle, powder horn, possibles bag, Bowie Knife, tomahawk, canteen.

I started this project Friday night. I had the pattern from Dog Soldiers, for a while. I cut the leather out Friday, and sewed all day Saturday and did the custom head and painted the SOTW accessories Sunday. If I was going to start over, I'd leave off the fringe from the shoulders. I made the pants, shirt, moccasins, possibles bags and hat. The hat is made from fox hide. I shaved the head of a SWAT Commander and used Sculpey III to make the new hair and beard. Thanks to Commando for the tips on the hair. My face color may be off a little. Don't worry, I'm working on it. I sewed the leather by hand. I wish I had a sewing machine that could go through three layers of leather. -- CK2

So that's what you were busy with while everybody else was at the convention! (heh heh) Nice work Seabee! I can't imagine anybody who wouldn't want to own that tough looking fellow.
