| This picture is of a Humvee I bought from a friend who had cut it into pieces! It started out as a Arctic Camo turtleback. I chopped the Roof, windshield and doors to lower the roof line to get a more in scale look and fitted Jeep seats to the interior to regain the lost headroom. A nice hefty Bullbar has been fitted to the front. The back has been left open with a canvas cover to keep out the elements.The Vehicle was then sprayed in appropriate colours with weathering, including the clean sweep made by the wipers. |
| This picture shows all three of my Humvees.The Desert Camo one also came in pieces and was also an Arctic Camo turtleback which I customised slightly. The Troop carrier was actually a Troop carrier that had had the Windshield removed. I replaced this and added side mirrors and made a Gun mount for the .50 cal so that the roof could be kept on. The Deset Camo one is still not finished yet, more a 'work in progress' |
