We finally got the front gates up and all is going great here in Le Morge, Mike and David are all recovering and doing well.
Todd, Vivian and Jon talked with Mike about the German activity outside of town. After a while Todd joined us and told that
Mike would be up to full force in about 3 to 4 days. He also told us about what Mike had said about the Germans; so we
decided to send out a scout. Gil volunteered to do that, Dimetri agreed to go with him. So they gathered their gear and left Le Morge to scout the area.
While they were gone we were given an American flag from Chris so I hung it from the church. Looking down I saw the Americans and I saw in their eyes that this flag was their strength, courage, their sole purpose to defend that flag. It made me proud to hang it from our town. It wasn't too long after we had hung the American flag that Gil and Demitri returned with news of Germans in the area. The time had came that we had not wished for, to defend this town. |
