| In his book "A Writer At War" Vasily Grossman, writes about units of the Red Army that used dogs that were trained from birth, to only eat underneath tanks. The dogs, probably shell shocked and starving, were loaded with explosive packs and set off in the direction of the German armor. The passage didn't say how effective the tactic was in the long run, but I'm sure no one got the dogs opinion on the whole thing. |
| Being a pet lover myself, this is a little bit of a disturbing part of history. Nonetheless, you've done some terrific work on customizing that Ultimate Soldier dog and your Ruskie looks really sharp as well.
