Found some time to dress up a couple of figures. I used DML bodies on the 21C Smoke Jumper Uni's. These are
oldies but goodies. The 21C smoke jumpers have the potential to customize into a great figure. A little dry brushing here
and some chalk pastels added and you could imagine the possibilities right?
I took a couple of nice head shots of the forestry figure. I think the headsculpt from this 21C figure is one of my favorites. He kind of reminds me of the actor who voices a lot of cartoons (also on Seinfield). The forestry fighters were a figure that I felt a lot of collectors overlooked (along with the smokejumpers). But since Southern California Forest Fires are a thing we deal with every summer, I thought these would be a great addition to my collection. As soon as I get a chance, I want to take these out onto some dry brush area and take some really good photo's. I just thought it would be cool to break out the classics! One Shot out! Can GL's troops give me some ideas on how I should take some cool "sky jumping" shots of the smokejumpers? like maybe hang them from some fishing line at the end of the pole? you tell me. |
