I got Sgt Takanashi (the traveling figure started by BC Ries) just before Christmas, and gave him a whirlwind tour of the house,
before sending him off to the APOs
Here are shots of the Sargeant, with some of my Japanese, My Honor Guards, My Scotsmen, including bagpipers, in the Samurai dio I have set up, even under our Christmas tree. He is also displaying some of the neat stuff he picked up while here, including a sword, machine gun, and some Arizona sun glasses (that sun is killer). He got to meet my original Hasbro Joe, a SOTW Japanese soldier & he hung out with my M5 crew, and even got to see some 1/18th Japanese soldiers, as well as the IJA and IJN airplanes in my collection. |
