U.S. 6th MARINE DIVISION, C.O. 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Rgt. Company Commander "Alfonse" Okinawa circa 1945 Alfonse is a veteran from the Bouginville Raiders. He has seen action throughout Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Iwo Jima and now on Okinawa with the 6th Marine Division, as part of US 3rd Amphibious Corps. Alfonse is armed with a "Grease Gun", Colt .45. his fighting knife and a few grenades. He also has a camera, binoculars and a captured Jap Flag as a souvenir |
