Anna needed some things from the store (two miles away), so I offered to go and get these things for her.
The new Cpt. and his Sgt. insisted that they go with me to protect me. Since I wasn't in command of Marwencol any
more, I had to let them come along with me,... for "protection". I didn't like the new Cpt., or his Sgt., and I sure as
heck didn't trust them.
Anna told Friedrich, her personal bodyguard, that his first job would be to ride shotgun with me while I drove to the store. Ya' see sir, Anna didn't like the new guy either, or his side-kick, so she sent Frieddy along with me, to protect me from the two guys that were supposedly going to "protect" me ! What a mixed up war this is. Not till later on did I learn of the Cpt. and his Sgt.'s intensions on jumping me and killing me on my trip to the store. Not until later did I learn, that the Cpt. and Sgt. were really SS in disguise.... spies..... |
