COMMANDO
By: C. Martin

Here's the completed Col. John Matrix, from 1985's hit movie "Commando", minus his M202A1 and a final coat of putty and paint on his Valmet rifle. I'd also like to trade out some of the non TUS items with TUS just to make him more of an ultimate soldier. And then there's that darned expensive Zacca World M202A1. And an Arnold head... maybe I'm not done, but you get the gist.

To start off with, here are three views of the Valmet 78/83 custom I made; it's from a TUS Ak-47, and a TUS BAR; I used the bar's barrel- including the bipod- to extend the AK's barrel and give it bipod legs. I was amazed this actually worked

And what good would the Valmet be without Matrix to wield it against all those piss-ant soldiers?

And just in case he runs out of ammo, Matrix is ready to slice and dice Bennet with a custom styrene, chrome-painted scale repro of the Jack Crain knife used in the film;

A very cool project here old buddy! You've done some really sharp work on him all over the place. It's cool how you were able to do that gun conversion. And remember if you decide to upgrade him, be sure and send more pics of him in. Special thanks for sending this cool figure project in and sharing it with us. - GL
