LAST OF THE MOCHO DE MONTES
PART 5
By: String

Situation: Rogue members of the Panamanian elite "Mocho de Monte's" have fled into the jungles in hopes of starting a guerilla war. This fire fight revolves around an old Spanish fort that the Mocho's are using to stock pile weapons and munitions

PartV - Estoy Travajando con Diablo - In the hills surrounding the old Spanish fort, members of the 7th Infantry Division assault a machine gun position which survived an earlier mortar attack.

A rogue PDF machine gun position survived the mortar attack and continues to fire on the lead "Gringo" element.

2nd squad team members flank the PDF position through thick bush.

A sharp shooter attached from the 3-7th SF watches the platoons back door with one of 3rd squads M-203 gunners.

The rogue PDF gun position continues to suppress the main "Gringo" element. Another rogue member watches the guns flank.

2nd squad presses on with their flanking move. The PDF gun position is unknowingly covering their noisy movement through the thick brush with their continuous fire.

A 2nd squad SAW gunner, PFC Jones, takes up a position behind a log to cover bounding team members.
