FIREBASE BOND, PART 2 By: oo7

After calling VC movement near the LPOP, Firebase Bond gave the troops some new orders. They were to check out a suspected VC camp near Firebase Bond.

The troops walk through some crops that the villagers had planted.

One of the team members searches through some rice while the other asks the villager where the rest of the villagers are. "Where are the others?" he asks. "They were killed!" The villager answers. "All that is left is me and a few other to grow crops!"

One of the troops stumbles on to a VC tunnel.

Suddenly one of the troops notices someone behind him. It's a VC troop!

He fires!

After checking the tunnel, the troop throws a grenade in. The rest of the place is clear.

One of the troops uses the radio. "Firebase Bond, come in! We need a pick up at the village." "We read you, we will send a pick up." "We found some tunnels and only found one Cong. Must have been out side watching the farm. Will bring him in for information. Over and out..."
