As a fourth grade teacher I got the chance to do this that would fit in with current events.
Today my students wrote a letter each to the editor of the local paper (Indianapolis Star) about
how important it is to support the troops. In a discussion the class was mixed about 50/50 to
weather or not we should go to war but 100% think that the troops need more support from
home then what they are getting.
A signed list from the teachers and students will be added to the display as it is finished. I was hoping for a larger display case to really go to town. But I had to settle for the one you see. Everything in the display is mine, except for my girlfriends combat boots, mine could use a good shine and would take even more room. |
