My troops got a firing squad ready, to execute the Spy Cpt.. They used (this is for you Sgt. Howard) a
Browning, a Thompson, a Mauser, and an Enfield as weapons of choice, to carry out the sentence. The firing squad
was looking down their sights and taking careful aim, when my brothers flew into town in the Florida Jeep, with mine
and Anna's bodies in the back seat.
My troops focused on the four of us in the Jeep, and they forgot about the SS spy, as they carried mine and Anna's lifeless bodies into the Church. They stripped-down our bodies, to bathe us, and wash us clean of war. My army didn't want to fight anymore, for the time being, and they were tasked with getting mine and Anna's bodies back to our home, safely. All the town's vehicles were out of gas, so they had to walk our bodies back home, twelve miles now, and through occupied Belgium. They didn't know how they were going to accomplish this task, without getting into a fight with the Germans. Todd figured out a way... ...the Germans didn't mess with medical personnel, or stretcher bearers, but he was the only medic there. He grabbed the four white, Church table cloths, and using his finger like a paint brush, stuck his finger in Anna's and my wounds, and painted big, thin, red crosses on them. |
